MISSIONS WE SUPPORT
PRESBYTERIAN WORLD SERVICE & DEVELOPMENT
Presbyterian World Service and Development is the worldwide Presbyterian church’s organization for missions. There is a longstanding relationship with Canadian Foodgrains Bank. Contributions to PWSD are voluntary and may be made at any time through the PWSD website or by clearly labeling the church envelopes. First Church organizes events and special offerings for projects that it has researched and to which it feels a connection. For example, recent fundraising efforts have been directed to Syrian relief, Guatemalan agriculture for sustainable food production and Malawi missionaries. Ongoing information is posted on the church hall bulletin board. A mission awareness Sunday is held once a year as well. More information on PWSD work worldwide can be found here.

In the message section please include your envelope # (if you have one) if not, please include your name, address, phone number and email address, as per CRA rules, to enable a tax receipt to be issued at the end of the year. All funds will go to the General Budget unless otherwise designated.
