What a wonderful day of fellowship at our Church Picnic! We were blessed with beautiful sunshine, delicious food, and, most importantly, the opportunity to gather together as a church family.

It was a joy to welcome both familiar faces and new friends, sharing laughter, meaningful conversations, and the simple gift of being together. Events like these remind us of the strength of our church community and the importance of making time to connect with one another.

A special thank you to our Sunday School children, teachers, and volunteers for the thoughtful Father’s Day treats prepared for all the dads. Your kindness and generosity made the day even more meaningful and were a wonderful reflection of the love and care within our church family.

Thank you as well to everyone who helped organize, prepare, and contribute to the picnic, and to everyone who attended and made it such a special day. We are grateful for the memories made and look forward to many more opportunities to gather in fellowship.

Just a friendly reminder that we will be worshipping at the Penetanguishene Museum this Sunday for our annual Church Picnic!

Following the service, we’ll gather for a potluck lunch, fellowship, and activities for all ages.

FOOD DRIVE

The Mission Team’s annual summer food drive continues throughout June, July and August. All items will be donated to the Georgian Bay Food Network which serves many families in our area. Items may be left in the Foyer. More information on suggested items and the operation of the Food Network can also be found there. Toiletries will also be collected for distribution later in the year. Thank you for your support.

If folks have extra grocery bags and can spare a few, anytime, the Blessing Table could use some to bundle up clothes for our guests.  We also accept clothes in good condition, in small amounts to replenish our table.  We can’t store much, so spread your offerings over several weeks if you can.

Track pants and casual clothes are very popular as are seasonal coats,shoes.  Drop off under the long table at the back of the new hall.  Thank you!

We are now able to e-transfer money to our church.  All you have to do is on your banking website, go to money transfers, add our church to your contact list – gifts4firstchurchpenetang@gmail.com  .  Then make your donation.  In the message section please include your envelope # (if you have one)   if not, please include your name, address, phone number and email address, as per CRA rules, to enable a tax receipt to be issued at the end of the year.  All funds will go to the General Budget unless otherwise designated.
