REMINDER WE ARE AT PENETANGUISHENE MUSEUM THIS SUNDAY

🌞 Church Picnic Sunday is Almost Here! 🌞

Just a friendly reminder that we will be worshipping at the Penetanguishene Museum this Sunday for our annual Church Picnic!

🕥 Worship begins at 10:25 a.m.

Following the service, we’ll gather for a potluck lunch, fellowship, and activities for all ages.

🥗 Potluck Reminder: Please bring a dish to share if you are able.

Whether you’re a longtime member, a first-time visitor, or simply looking for a welcoming community, we’d love to have you join us for this special day of worship, friendship, and fun.

FOOD DRIVE

The Mission Team’s annual summer food drive continues throughout June, July and August. All items will be donated to the Georgian Bay Food Network which serves many families in our area. Items may be left in the Foyer. More information on suggested items and the operation of the Food Network can also be found there. Toiletries will also be collected for distribution later in the year. Thank you for your support.

HIKE FOR HOSPICE

We’re excited to share that Mae and Gary are once again supporting the Hike for Hospice and have created TEAM FIRST CHURCH for this year’s event! 💚
 
First Church has a team participating in the upcoming Hike for Hospice, helping support compassionate care for individuals and families in our community.
 
If you would like to support the cause by donating or would like to walk alongside them by joining the team, we would love to have you involved!

CARING KITCHEN REQUEST

If folks have extra grocery bags and can spare a few, anytime, the Blessing Table could use some to bundle up clothes for our guests.  We also accept clothes in good condition, in small amounts to replenish our table.  We can’t store much, so spread your offerings over several weeks if you can.

Track pants and casual clothes are very popular as are seasonal coats,shoes.  Drop off under the long table at the back of the new hall.  Thank you!

ONLINE DONATIONS NOW AVAILABLE

We are now able to e-transfer money to our church.  All you have to do is on your banking website, go to money transfers, add our church to your contact list – gifts4firstchurchpenetang@gmail.com  .  Then make your donation.  In the message section please include your envelope # (if you have one)   if not, please include your name, address, phone number and email address, as per CRA rules, to enable a tax receipt to be issued at the end of the year.  All funds will go to the General Budget unless otherwise designated.

Additionally, givings and offerings can be made on Sundays or dropped off at the church during office hours. For other options please consider using PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance) to have them drawn directly from your bank account.  Contact Jill St. Amant 705 529 3652.) for more information.
